JROTC – Cadet Handbook

The Cadet Handbook

Things That Cadets Should Learn and Know!

The Cadet Handbook offers general knowledge that cadets need. The handbook also gives a glimpse in to what JROTC is for high school students who may be interested, but wish to know more before deciding whether to sign up or not. All of the knowledge in this handbook is taught during the course of the school year. It is recommended that cadets use the knowledge here for practice and study.

Rank Structure – JROTC uses the U.S. Army rank structure, excluding Specialists, Warrant Officers, Colonel, and the General ranks. Cadets will earn merits and be promoted throughout their time in JROTC.
