It is important for all cadets to know their Chain of Command. Below, is the chain of command from the President of the United States to the NCHS Army Instructor:

	Commander in Chief, United States Armed Forces – Honorable Barack H. Obama
	Secretary of Defense – Honorable Dr. Robert M. Gates
	Secretary of the Army – Honorable John M. McHugh
	Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army – General George W. Casey, Jr.
	Commander, Training and Doctrine Command – General Martin E. Dempsey
	Commander, Accessions Command – LIeutenant General Benjamin C. Freakley
	Commander, U.S. Army Cadet Command – Major General Arthur M. Bartell
	Commander, Seventh Brigade – Colonel Renee T. Finnegan
	Senior Army Instructor – Major Roy R. Waldhoff
